Super Easy Dish Scrubby
by Kimberly Belcher
This is a Super Easy pattern. It will probably only take 10 minutes for the first one. This pattern will make 4 scrubbies from 1 skein. This is my first pattern. Hope you enjoy!
Materials Needed:
1 skein Yarn Bee Scrub-Ology Scrub-It!
K (6.5mm) crochet hook
Needle for weaving in ends
hdc = half double crochet
ch = chain
slp = slip stitch
Pattern:
Leaving a 6" tail, Ch 17
Row 1: hdc in the second ch from hook (I use the back bump) & in each chain to the end. (16), ch 2 & turn.
Row 2: hdc in each stitch across, ch2 & turn (16)
Row 3-5: Repeat row 2.
Row 6: hdc across (16), DO NOT CUT YARN
Fold piece in half to form a square. Make sure corners are aligned. Mark if needed. Ch1, place 2 sc in the corner, catching both corners together. Continue down the first edge with sc evenly (7-8 stitches), making sure to catch both sides of the fabric. Place 3 sc in corner.
Now you should be at your starting tail. Crochet over tail until you can no longer hold it, then snip. Continue sc stitches all the way around to starting point (putting 3 sc in the corners).
Slp in the beginning ch1. Tie off & weave in tail.
